Job Purpose:
The job holder is responsible to maintain a very detailed summary of daily/weekly duties including all changes/problems/complains and correspondence, follow up on all activities and respond to all issues of your respective locations by not allowing tasks to be backlogged. Must be able to handle many tasks simultaneously and still be available to handle a new and immediate task that needs attention. Must be able to interface on a professional level at all times with a variety of different personalities all the way.
Key Accountabilities:
- To be punctual everytime you are scheduled for duty
- Always be in formal attire during duty, preferably suits with tie.
- Supports in training valet parking attendants on expected high level of service, etiquette of customer interaction and reports Operations Manager/Asst. Operations Manager.
- Carryout spot-checks and fiscal audits following the given guidelines and processes.
- Supervise and coordinates the operational activities for assigned functional areas/regions.
- Accomplishes results through the effective management of staff that will range from subordinate levels up to supervisory level.
- Helps to develop, implement, and coordinate strategic operational delivery programs to the valet department.
- Participates in the review and recommendation for improvement in the operational systems and service deliveries.
- Provides advice and consultation for leadership in the development phase of the subordinates.
- Recommends and participates in the development of operational policies and procedures.
- Delivers short training programs for subordinates within the operations department and its components on service delivery, hygiene, safety and general policies and procedures.
- Take lead responsibility for effective development of newly contracted sites and its operational framework on a regular basis.
- Contributes and reviews the ongoing operations on a regular and necessary basis to lead and deliver effective influence, and provide timely solutions.
- Negotiates or mediates issues with internal and/or external representatives, and/ or concerned outside parties or their representatives.
- Resolves issues or on-site complaints with the consultation of the Operations Managerial team.
- Handle on location accident/incident under the guidance of accident in-charge and valet management team.
- Participates in establishing direction, goals, and policies in the department.
- Consults with Clients/ location Management and Valet attendants to identify problems, develop improvements, create and maintain quality standards.
- Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and/or rules, standards and guidelines, etc.
- Monitors and evaluates operations, trainings, processes and/or practices for quality and effectiveness; makes strategies for improvement.
- If necessary under the guidance of the Management team, represents the Company to the clients and private organizations.
- If necessary under the guidance of the Management team, conducts or represents the Company at, formal or informal meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree
- Degree in Hospitality is an advantage
- Minimum of two years experience in the Hospitality industry
- Multi Tasker & to work in outdoor environment
- Excellent communication skills
