Senior Social Media Executive at EMAAR ( Dubai )

Senior Social Media Executive is tasked with maximizing Emaar’s exposure through online channels and ensuring customer comments are answered in accordance with the corporate guidelines. They will support and drive all aspects of social media management for Emaar Properties and its entities. 

Senior Social Media Executive needs to ensure all Emaar entities are accurately represented online, supports business plans and objectives of each property to the highest standard. 

JOB DIMENSIONS
The Senior Social Media Executives report to the Senior Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager with a dotted reporting lines to the Assistant Social Media Managers and Assistant Social Media Content Managers.

The Senior Social Media Executive has no direct reports. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Social Media:
  • Implement social media strategy ensuring corporate and brand requirements are adhered to at all times.
  • Develops content, monitors and updates the Company’s Social Media Portals including outside working hours:
    • Facebook
    • Twitter
    • YouTube
    • Instagram
    • LinkedIn
    • Google+
    • TripAdvisor
    • Pintrest
  • Monitors and coordinates online activity to meet the objectives of Emaar group events, entity initiatives and individual brand strategies. Ensures social media platforms are up to date including events and images in all available languages.
  • Rigorously maintain social media marketing calendar to deliver online campaigns and promotions.
  • Online support for Marketing/PR and Customer Relations activities within the business units
  • Carry out any other activities related to online marketing as directed by Senior Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager.
Marketing Strategy:
  • Assists in developing the brand and act as guardian of the brand identity. 
  • Contributes to the developments of social media advertising efforts and promotional programs to establish brand awareness and create customer loyalty. 
  • Participate in online workshops, conferences and networking opportunities to keep abreast with trends within the online field.
Principal Accountabilities:
  • Monitors and updates Emaar’s social media portals during and outside normal working hours – these include but not limited to @EmaarDubai, @MyDowntownDubai, @TheDubaiMall, @BurjKhalifa, @Address_Hotels ect.
  • Works within agreed standards and guidelines for all brand communications to ensure consistency and level of quality and objectives are achieved.
  • Manage business relationship with entities, agencies and suppliers to ensure deadlines are met and work is developed according to the guidelines whilst ensuring quality
  • Generate analytic reports on a regular basis analysing monthly social media statistics. Set necessary actions and execute accordingly.
  • Maintain community guidelines reference log.

JOB CONTEXT 

The Senior Social Media Executive works internally with (consisting off but not limited to:) Emaar IT, Development, Projects, Facilities Management, Emaar Community Management, Customer Care and subsidiaries: Emaar International, Emaar Malls, Emaar Retail, Emaar Hospitality, Emaar Industries and Investments and externally with contractors, clients, sponsors, suppliers, PR & media agencies. 
 

Qualifications

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
  • Minimum 1 year of Digital/Social Media/Customer Relations Experience 
  • Should have leadership & motivation skills, strategic thinking and project management skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent English and Arabic language skills required.  
  • Knowledge of digital analytic tools (a bonus) – eg Radian6, Google Analytics, FB Insights ect.
