The Role

Make Up Artist - Dubai, UAE

Illamasqua, Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier are currently looking for talented and creative Make Up Artists to join their teams in various locations across Dubai.

You will be required to deliver excellent customer service through identifying customer needs, recommend and demonstrate products whilst carrying out a makeover, link products and close the sale. You would need to follow up with regular customers and their make up needs and promote repeat sales.

As a Make Up Artist, you will receive regular training from the brand to refine your artistry skills and provide you with all the necessary knowledge you will need to be able to make sales reach targets.

Requirements

To be successful, you will have had to have gained previous experience in retail sales and ideally have training in Cosmetology & Make Up with at least 3 years hands-on experience in beauty industry.

As a Make Up Artist for Al Tayer Group, you must display a strong passion in make up. You must be self - motivated and must possess very good selling skills. You must be a good communicator with an immaculate grooming and pleasing personality.

Requirements

FM Inspector in EMAAR ( Dubai )

Job Purpose:

The Inspector is responsible for enforcement of the master community’s covenants by conducting daily inspections in order to maintain the prestige and upkeep of Emaar’s master community areas.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Carries out duties as lay down without direct supervision as and when required.
  • Observes and has a keen eye to site surroundings, take measurements and note what is out of place during her routine inspections
  • Evaluate damages and asset conditions after events or bad weather conditions
  • Frequently checks if compliance of contractors to their issued permit to work is being adhered to.
  • Timely relays inspection findings and recommendations
  • Ensures, in conjunction with the responsible person for Health & Safety, that all safety regulations including smoking restrictions are observed and to assist in the prevention of accidents.
  • Reports all incidents affecting master community property and to take actions to prevent further loss, damage or injury.
  • Establish drive order for inspection schedule and is willing to be exposed into weather extremities
  • Take photographs of any violation with date stamped, and route it to the concerned
  • Complete assigned tasks within given deadlines.
  • Works on shifting schedules (day and night) to ensure that site issues are captured extensively.
  • Any other tasks that may be required from time to time

Job Context:

The job holder shall help the operations team spot problems out in the site and ensure that issues are rectified.
 

Qualifications

 
Qualification:
  • University/Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture or similar field

Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience within QA, FM, inspection or any similar industry

Skills:
  • Excellent IT/Computer Skills (MS Package know-how: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
  • Has a valid UAE driving license
  • Thinks clearly under pressure, ability to work in fast paced work environment.

Restaurant Manager is required in Azadea ( Dubai )

Role Purpose

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for planning , organizing , directing and controlling operations of the back and front of the house .

Key Accountabilities

Overview the food preparation/ presentation process, ensuring high quality items and conformity with

the set standards and techniques of the brand’s food specifications

Ensure the effective implementation of service standards, operational procedures as per the brand set

guidelines, in addition to health and safety regulations

Review the prepared wastage sheet, sales report, logbook, requisition forms and submit them to the

Operations Manager on a daily basis

Promote, negotiate and handle catering orders for banquets/receptions and ensure smooth operation

of take away orders

Review the monthly P&L providing explanation when necessary, as well as planning the monthly and

daily sales objectives taking necessary measures to meet them

Greet customers when needed, guarantee them an excellent dinning experience and handle their complaints appropriately

Control the end of month inventory, monitor the food cost of the brand's outlet and review against the operation’s budget

Recruit, train, motivate and evaluates his/her team to ensure that the department has the necessary

skill base and that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximize their potential and contribution to the company

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management

5-6 years of experience in F&B Operations, out of which 3 years in a managerial role

Fluency in English; Arabic is a major plus
