Illamasqua, Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier are currently looking for talented and creative Make Up Artists to join their teams in various locations across Dubai.

You will be required to deliver excellent customer service through identifying customer needs, recommend and demonstrate products whilst carrying out a makeover, link products and close the sale. You would need to follow up with regular customers and their make up needs and promote repeat sales.

As a Make Up Artist, you will receive regular training from the brand to refine your artistry skills and provide you with all the necessary knowledge you will need to be able to make sales reach targets.

Requirements

To be successful, you will have had to have gained previous experience in retail sales and ideally have training in Cosmetology & Make Up with at least 3 years hands-on experience in beauty industry.

As a Make Up Artist for Al Tayer Group, you must display a strong passion in make up. You must be self - motivated and must possess very good selling skills. You must be a good communicator with an immaculate grooming and pleasing personality.

FM Inspector in EMAAR ( Dubai )

Job Purpose:

The Inspector is responsible for enforcement of the master community’s covenants by conducting daily inspections in order to maintain the prestige and upkeep of Emaar’s master community areas.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Carries out duties as lay down without direct supervision as and when required.
  • Observes and has a keen eye to site surroundings, take measurements and note what is out of place during her routine inspections
  • Evaluate damages and asset conditions after events or bad weather conditions
  • Frequently checks if compliance of contractors to their issued permit to work is being adhered to.
  • Timely relays inspection findings and recommendations
  • Ensures, in conjunction with the responsible person for Health & Safety, that all safety regulations including smoking restrictions are observed and to assist in the prevention of accidents.
  • Reports all incidents affecting master community property and to take actions to prevent further loss, damage or injury.
  • Establish drive order for inspection schedule and is willing to be exposed into weather extremities
  • Take photographs of any violation with date stamped, and route it to the concerned
  • Complete assigned tasks within given deadlines.
  • Works on shifting schedules (day and night) to ensure that site issues are captured extensively.
  • Any other tasks that may be required from time to time

Job Context:

The job holder shall help the operations team spot problems out in the site and ensure that issues are rectified.
 

Qualifications

 
Qualification:
  • University/Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture or similar field

Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience within QA, FM, inspection or any similar industry

Skills:

Store Manager at Build-A-Bear Workshop

The Role

Salary up to 8000 AED plus quarterly commission
Build a Bear is a fun and dynamic place to work. We do not just sell toys, we create experiences for children as they get to make their very own stuffed animal. The store sells stuffed animals that the children get to make themselves. We offer parties for children and generally create a very fun and dynamic place to shop.

As a store manager we are looking for someone who will take care of the following responsibilities:
• Monitor daily sales against the business plan
• Motivate the team to reach the business plan
• Place regular stock and supply orders with the Dubai head office
• Manage all deliveries – ensure any discrepancies are reported and stock is adjusted
• Ensure all products are correctly priced 
• Re-price stock for sale periods
• Assist with recruitment of junior staff – screening CVs and conducting phase 1 interviews
• Manage all weekly scheduling of staff – ensure business needs are met as well as balance Overtime etc.
• Conduct regular staff appraisals, create Personal Development Plans
• Help drive and build the party business by contacting schools and corporate companies
• Liaise with mall management on an ad hoc basis to ensure solid relationships are maintained. 
• Train retail staff in the shop on general brand sales processes, product knowledge as well as general retail techniques.
• Ensure the stock room is managed accurately
• Handle all day to day store general administration paperwork, daily sales logs, banking, opening and closing procedures.
• Create a warm and friendly atmosphere where customer are made to feel welcome
• Actively sell and interact with customers – as a manager you do not sit back and watch. You are very much an active part of the team.

Requirements

In order to be considered for this role you must have been a store manager for at least 2 years. You need to demonstrate how you have motivated a team and how you manage a team on a day to day basis. You must have experience in all of the above areas. You must be able to demonstrate your hands-on skills. None of the managers at Build-A-Bear Workshop have offices out back, you are expected on the shop floor. You must have excellent communication skills in English and knowledge of Arabic would be an added advantage. Excellent computer skills in excel and MS office. You need to be very organized, highly multi tasked, work well under pressure and able to lead by example. We need someone who will be happy to sing happy birthday to a party or lead a school group through an amazing experience. We also want someone who has the business head to manage the day to day runnings of the store – manage the store cleaning and general up keep. This is an immediate role.
