Mechanical Engineer  Description Job Purpose: The job holder is responsible to review & validate tenant HVAC submissions, inspect on site installations,  review & prepare scope of works for tenant variation requests, inspect & validate  base build MEP service provisions Key Accountabilities: Review of retail tenant HVAC design across all EMG developments Inspection of Mechanical services installation by tenant in retail units across all EMG developments Ensure implementation of EMG-Retail fitout & general technical guidelines in tenant design. Ensure that installation matches the approved drawings. Ensure that latest life safety guidelines by local authorities & EMG guidelines are implemented in the retail units. Ensure that tenant submissions are reviewed & returned within the allowable time frame. Attend to technical workshops with tenant designers and contractors Prepare & issue inspection reports highlighting installation anomalies Review, conduct feasibility study and prepare scope of works for tenant variation requests. Maintain records of changes carried out to base build HVAC system.   Qualifications Qualification: University degree in Mechanical Engineering Experience: Minimum 6 years experience in design & installation of HVAC Systems. Familiar with international design & installation standards. Familiar with local authority guidelines for electrical systems.
