Job Purpose:
The job holder is responsible to Direct, Lead and Manage the Multi Media technical team in the execution of all department specific activities and to coordinate and monitor all technical activity relating to installation, preventative and reactive maintenance of all existing and future Multi Media equipment to ensure minimum downtime or system failure.
Key Accountabilities:
- Accountable for delivering safe and successful events in line with The Dubai Mall Marketing objectives and add value to the guest experience
- To actively manage and coordinate projects assigned to the Multi Media technical team.
- Co Ordination with Events team and other Management to ensure all necessary event production requirements are met fully in line with the Annual Calendar of events or other requests when received.
- Ensure all events production is world class standard and are of a high standard of presentation and quality
- Provide feedback to Events team or other Management on events from Production team perspective.
- Liaison with relevant authorities – Dubai Municipality, fire, police etc to ensure event permission and licenses are granted where required.
- Ensure all H&S documentation and regulations are adhered to for all department activity.
- Full adherence to administration, document and audit requirements specific to the department.
- Business improvement – regular analysis of business performance and trends. Suggestions for improvement to be communicated to Senior Management
- Technical Asset Management – Preventative, Corrective and Reactive Maintenance. Spare Part Management.
- Contract Management – Source, contract, manage and maintain relationships with relevant external suppliers/agencies.
- Management of in house team.

Qualifications
Qualification:
- Bsc (or equivalent) technical qualification in electronics or control engineering
- Tertiary Qualification in Management/Business or Projects
Experience:
- 5 years minimum experience and technical understanding of digital media and audio systems.
Skills:
- Proactive and detail oriented person with strong people management, organizational and project management skills
- Understanding of retail business and environment
- Excellent communication skills
